FREE FILMING EXERCISE / JEWELRY

One pair of earrings.
Four shots to start.

Skip the blank page. Use your phone to show the pair, its details, its size and its movement. Pick a plan below and film your own item.

No signup. No face or voice required. You film and edit the video yourself.

This is a fictional teaching example. Blue beads and a hook closure are assumed for this exercise. It is not a real merchant case study, product photograph or evidence of sales results. Adapt all details to your item.
TRY ONE REAL TASK

Finish one 15-second clip.

Use one pair you own or have permission to film. First note what you normally do to plan a product video. Follow the four shots below, trim them to 3, 4, 5 and 3 seconds, then open and watch the exported video.

Check that the detail is sharp, the ruler can be read and the words match your actual item. Record what you had to change. There is no promised completion time or sales result.

Download the filming and result checklist

If you stop after one shot, that is useful too. Tell us where you stopped; downloading the plan alone is not the same as finishing a video.

BEFORE YOU RECORD

A simple tabletop setup.

THE 15-SECOND PLAN

Four shots. One clear view.

00–03s

The pair

Place both earrings on a matte card by a window. Lock focus; shoot vertically.

On screen: “A closer look.”

03–07s

The detail

Move the phone closer to one bead. Keep it still; avoid digital zoom.

On screen: “See the bead detail.”

07–12s

Scale and movement

Hold one earring beside a ruler in the same plane. Turn it gently without hiding the markings.

On screen: “Check the size. See it move.”

12–15s

Next step

Return to the pair on the card. Leave clear space for the closing text.

On screen: “Measurements in our shop.”

THE 30-SECOND PLAN

More time for the details.

00–04s

The pair

Frame both earrings on a matte card beside a window. Lock focus and exposure.

On screen: “A closer look.”

04–09s

The bead

Film one bead close up. Keep its surface sharp and avoid digital zoom.

On screen: “Start with the detail.”

09–14s

The closure

Turn the earring to show its actual hook closure clearly.

On screen: “See how it attaches.”

14–20s

Scale

Place one earring beside a ruler in the same plane. Keep the scale readable.

On screen: “Check the measurements.”

20–26s

Movement

Hold the earring by the hook and turn it gently. Use the same light and background.

On screen: “See it from another angle.”

26–30s

Next step

Return to the pair. Hold the frame while the final text appears.

On screen: “Full details in our shop.”

Caption starter

A closer look at this pair: the beads, the closure and the way it moves. Check the measurements and product details in our shop before choosing.

Replace the shop instruction if you do not have a live product page. Add audio only if you have permission to use it; this plan also works without music.

Use it with the full planner

The text plans work on their own. If you already have Small Shop Reel Kit, choose Open project in Planner.html and select a downloaded JSON file. Save your current project first. Your own edits remain editable after import.

These files contain a filming plan, not a finished video. The offline planner uses templates; it does not analyze photos or call AI.

REPORT THE RESULT

What happened when you tried filming?

Tell us which stage you reached and the first step that slowed you down. A short text reply is enough; footage is optional and we will not publish it without separate permission.

The free exercise stays free. If you finish it and want to discuss the separate full kit, we can explain exactly what the proposed US$5 version adds. Sales are not open yet.
