WEEKEND PHOTO ZINE KIT · FPMATRIX · FIRST EDITION v0.1.1

START
1. Unzip the complete download. Keep index.html, app.js, core.js, styles.css
   and the assets folder together.
2. Open index.html in a current desktop Chrome browser.
3. Choose a style and 2-12 JPG, PNG or WebP photos. The first upload replaces
   the four original sample illustrations.
4. Edit the title, place and date. Use the page thumbnails to navigate.
5. Click a photo page to edit its caption and placement. Full photo keeps every edge; choose Fill frame to
enable zoom and crop position. Placement applies wherever the photo appears. Use the
arrows under each photo to reorder it; choose your cover photo separately.
6. Export an A4/US Letter PDF, a ZIP of PNG pages, or the active PNG page.
If automatic saving does not start, click the prepared-file link.
7. Save project downloads an editable .photo-zine.json file that includes
your resized images. A requested download is not a confirmed save: check
the file in your downloads before clicking the confirmation button. New
edits invalidate that confirmation. Open project restores it without
recompressing embedded images. Keep this file private.

YOUR PHOTOS
Photos are processed in this browser. This package contains no photo upload,
online AI, analytics or external asset requests. Projects stay in memory;
closing or refreshing clears unsaved edits. Always save your project and check the downloaded file first.
Images are resized to a maximum 1800-pixel edge. Keep your original files.
JPG, PNG and WebP only. Convert HEIC/HEIF to JPG before import. Maximum 12
photos, 25 MB per input file, and 48 megapixels per decoded image.

OUTPUT
PNG pages: 1440 x 1920 pixels. PDF: one image page per sheet with white
margins; choose A4 or US Letter. This first version provides personal print
layouts, without booklet imposition, professional bleed or crop marks.
Long captions/titles can wrap or show an ellipsis; inspect the preview.
PDF text is rendered as part of each page image and is not selectable text.

COMPATIBILITY
Desktop Chrome is the recommended first-version environment. Mobile layout
has a responsive design; real iPhone/Android saving remains to be verified.
The Codex in-app browser did not complete Blob downloads in our test; use
desktop Chrome for saving. Old Chrome 61/WebView and XHS container behavior
were not tested. This is a browser product, not an XHS container package.
MP4 export, public share pages, online AI and cloud sync are not included.

HELP
Use the ? button for the guide. For feedback, visit fpmatrix.ai and use the
contact route published there. Include the version and browser, plus steps
to reproduce a problem; do not send private photos or complete projects
unless you specifically choose to share them.

COMPATIBILITY WITH v0.1.0
Version-1 projects still open. Photos without a placement setting retain
their original fill/crop behavior. New photos default to Full photo. The
legacy After Hours style now appears as Photo Essay: neutral page colors,
a different layout, and your original photo colors are preserved.
Transparent input images are flattened against white on initial import.
